I hope this makes a lot of seniors really excited about the news that they are now eligible for boosters if they're six months out, and as we're going into winter we want to be sure that everyone's immunity is up, so now would also be a good time for those seniors to go ahead and think about boosters and flu shots.

I think if you keep that in mind and realize that, yes, it's scary, but it can be manageable, people should work with Nina Alfieri. I think a lot of the kids with the first dose may or may not even see a fever, but people should work with their pediatrician in case they do and come up with a good plan and that will be the best thing to do. It should resolve quickly.

We've just had all of these kids mixing together with everybody else during Christmas, we have one more holiday to get through with New Year's, and then we'll be sending everybody back to school. Everybody is kind of waiting on the edge, wondering what we'll end up seeing.

Kids' immunity may last longer and that would mean they may be on a different schedule than the adults, that's if they need one at all.

For us it's going to be pretty routine and I think that's what the administration was hoping for, this will be up and running and when kids come in for their well child visit they can get their Covid shot too.

These vaccines are safe, they are effective, as we get into the holiday season and want to be together with friends and family, it would be a really nice holiday gift for all of us if everyone, including children were to get vaccinated once these vaccines become available.

Once we all took our masks off, the viruses did what they do best and found lots of people to give runny noses to.

Even if we don't think these things are important for ourselves, we should really do them for a child in our lives so that they can get back to a little more normal.

But again, we still need to be sure the end game is that we try to stop this if we can.
