Today, following the summit, we are in a dramatically different place, the whole landscape has shifted. I believe we should give exercises, major exercises, a pause to see if Kim Jong Un is in fact serious about Kim Jong part of the negotiations.

We’ve been led astray by viewing space as some kind of a fuzzy panda bear thing i think the Chinese … the Russians and others, they view space as the ultimate high ground. They are preparing for battle in space.

The fact remains that China is as responsible for where North Korea is today as North Korea itself.

The bottom line is this: we want to co-operate where we can, but we just have to be ready as a military to confront them if we must.

He recently threatened pre-emptive nuclear strikes against the United States and other countries in the region, folks, make no mistake about it. North Korea is on a quest for nuclear weapons, the means to miniaturize them and the ways to deliver them intercontinentally.

We should cooperate with China wherever we can, but we have to confront China where we must, some of their activities in the South China Sea falls into that category.

Working trilaterally, I believe we can bolster our collective defense against North Korean provocations.

We must continue to operate in the South China Sea to demonstrate that that water space and the air above it is international.
