As opposed to a wave, this( election) looks like a realignment and that's scarier, that is a bigger problem for Republicans long term, because we are winning the places that are not the growing tide( in population), they are the shrinking tide, and that's not where you want to be.

Other Republicans were the disruptive group. At this point, even getting into that mess, whoever is disruptive pays a price at the polls. i don't think you want to let this charge float out there, because health care is the one bill that is hurting them this year.

Paul Ryan was the franchise, with Paul, this was a Republican Party they could still give to. He’s a great brand for the party. He’s gone.

[A speakership coup] would be the worse thing that could happen to the party. It would show they can't govern their own caucus, let alone the government, when people unhappy with Obama look to Republicans for a governing party, this is the last thing they want to see.
