Before today, I thought, red scare McCarthyism was rightly relegated to the dustbin of history, any American citizen who fled communist repression – whether it be FDIC Chair Jelena McWilliams or OCC nominee Saule Omarova – should be lauded for their courage and conviction. I believe that my colleagues – from both sides of the aisle – will reject such character assassinations.

I want to hear from people around( the country) and I want this conversation and this dignity of work tour to encourage my colleagues running for president that this should be the narrative.

Because Ohio is in so many ways the number one swing state in the country, a message that works there, the dignity of work, works everywhere.

National Democrats and some pundits say that National Democrats, National Democrats and some pundits kind of make this a choice : either National Democrats talk to progressives, to the progressive base, or National Democrats and some pundits talk to workers, working class families regardless of race. To me you've got ta do both, that's how we won Ohio.

The work is not done yet, i understand The President said it's final. The President needs to talk to Congress on this. We can go back to the table with the Mexicans and the Canadians and do stronger labor standards.

We've got to do this right, the President's threats are not particularly helpful, not surprisingly, but we need stronger labor enforcement standards.

Let our country -- our nation's citizens, our Ohio Democratic, my fellow elected officials all over the country -- let them all cast their eyes toward the heartland, to The Midwest, to our Great Lakes state, and we will show America how we celebrate organized labor and all workers - the waitress in Dayton, the office worker in Toledo, the nurse in Columbus, the mineworker in Coshocton. That is the message coming out of Ohio in 2018, and that is the blueprint for our nation in 2020.

I don't question your integrity here but maybe your judgment, you buy stocks after you get appointed to a job like this?

I supported the President’s move on steel tariffs, i think it’s time we draw a line on Chinese misbehavior.

I’m for these resolutions, but they're not resolutions to provide college to the children of the people who died in the fire. Not to the grandchildren of the people who died at Pearl Harbor. They're resolutions that don't mean anything except they're nice.

I'm not worried. I see what Secretary Clinton has done, secretary Clinton's always been willing to talk. The story that is missing is what we don't know about( presumptive GOP presidential nominee) Donald Trump.
