You're looking at a commodity-based rally which is primarily on U.S. dollar weakness, it's reasonable to assume pressure on the U.S. dollar can persist until we get a better message out of the U.S. Fed on their intentions for policy.

They tried to rally, it was really oversold yesterday. But there's no real catalysts right now to turn this around, people are still worried about the election in Canada as well as what is happening in the U.S. in terms of earnings.

The fact that OPEC is going to get together and come up with a fair value for oil gave some boost to the market.

If we can see stability in the energy complex, we're naturally going to get stability in the banks as well.

The recent weakness of the U.S. dollar has helped some of the commodities in Canada.

As long as you can see your financial markets being stable, I think you can envision equity markets in general to be stable. And that's what we're still seeing.

The energy run that we've had is, in the very short term, banking up to tough levels on a technical front to be able to sustain itself on the upside.

It's a more stable environment right now, given that we've taken away the volatility with the big selloff we had in the oil patch.

It's a strategy that a lot of folks have become more comfortable with, you go into year-end holding stocks that are very strong, and as you come into the new year you want to reposition for some of those very deep oversold conditions.
