Courage is often misconstrued as the absence of fear, which it is not. Courage is rather a total mastery of fear. It's the Courage that takes away the fear to make mistakes and deepest fear to fail. Courage is never a roaring beast as pictured many a times - but in my view, it's a wonderful, quiet and tiny singing bird that whispers softly and gently in your ears: "You'll do it again tomorrow! You'll make it happen!" during the darkest moments of life, when you are all alone. Never lose that beautiful and precious singing bird.

Often I come across the public displays of charitable acts and donations on social media, which reminds me of the teaching from Holy Book: “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.“ In my view, it's an act of hypocracy to blow one's trumpet on FB or Twitter or like social media about one's charitable act, with ulterior motives of self-promotion and gaining praise from others. In my view, the true philanthropist, who is selfless at heart, does not let her/his left hand know what the right hand is doing - so that the noble act of giving remains absolutely secret. I really respect such selfless philanthropists. Long live the spirit of Charity that flows from a pure heart with Honesty and Integrity.

The Best way to better yourself is to be in the company of the Best who are better than you. You mustn't feel intimidated by the people who are better than you. Instead, you should welcome them in your life and be their student, as soon as practical. Life is very short, but it's also a learning process involving continuous improvement.

What I am going to say may appear narcissistic, but it's true. If you want to see a miracle, all you have to do is just look in the mirror, and you will see the greatest miracle in this world: The Human Body, the amazingly wondrous creation of Supreme Power, in my view. The process of creation of human body begins with the union of sperm and ovum in the womb of a woman. It's just a beginning of the greatest miracle, because almost immediately begins the creation of thousands of millions of body cells, which in fact build the most complicated tissues, complex organs, and exceptionally intricate systems of the human body. Interestingly there are about one octillion cells in adult human body, which can be written as 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. And now comes the astounding fact: all these one thousand trillion trillion cells are created by only fifty consecutive replications of just one cell. Wow! That's what I consider miracle, created by none other than Supreme Power!

Ich lernte viel über Führung aus diesem Film - lange vor meiner MBA-Studiengang zum Thema Führung. Sie sehen, wie ein wahrer Führer schreitet die Anhänger über ihre normalen Grenzen, im Laufe ihres Verbandes, indem zunächst erzählen, dann verkaufen, gefolgt von der Zusammenarbeit, und schließlich die Übertragung der Aufgaben. Human life is often likened to a Rose Garden. It makes perfect sense to me. As we walk through the garden, we are always refreshed and rejuvenated by the breeze that carries amazingly capturing exquisite fragrance of beautiful flowers all around. Life seems so wonderful at that very moment. And on some occasions, a sight of dried plants, with dry petals lying around, plucked dead flowers and heaps of dead leaves all around sadden us a lot. A cold brutal breeze makes us shiver with the shocking dark reality check. Life can be so amazing and beautiful, and yet can be so cold and cruel sometimes....just like a Rose Garden.

In the journey of life, you'll always meet some people who will try to bring you down, tell bad things about you behind your back, humiliate or insult you in public, and make you feel small. Do not let them win, at any cost. Illegitimi non carborundum. Think of those mean and rude people as the sand paper that may scratch you, but at the end you'll come out smooth, polished and shining. And guess what? Those mean and rude people will just get worn out, dirtier, filthier and uglier than they were before criticizing you. You're the wonderful Winner who takes it all, and they're the lousy Losers standing small. You will be the one to laugh last and the longest. Cheer up, my friend.

Interestingly, it's the imperfection that makes things beautiful, even though this viewpoint may seem labyrinthine. Absolute perfection is often unattainable in reality, and yet so many imperfect things can be breathtakingly beautiful. So it must be that either the Perfection is overrated, or that our Imperfections must be making us so unique - and hence most beautiful. I like what Marilyn Monroe said decades ago: "Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." So, go ahead and celebrate your differentiating differentness - including the imperfections that make you so beautiful.

Many people misconstrue confidence with arrogance and vice versa, although the two are truly distinct and quite different IMHO. Confident person knows that no one is above him/her, and treats everyone with equality. Arrogant person believes that everyone is below her/him, and doesn't treat others with equality, respect and dignity. And that's what differentiates Confidence from Arrogance!

Never give up when you strongly believe in something, or deeply love someone, regardless of how adverse it gets and how low you feel at times. Never give up Hope, because the lowest ebb is often the sure sign of tide turning favorably. So, hold on to your Dreams, Beliefs, Values, Love and especially Hope - always!

According to Shakespeare, Love is blind. But it may not be the whole truth. It's possible that Love may turn a blind eye, knowingly and intentionally, to the follies and flaws that are otherwise also so harmless. In my view, only Love enables you to see the truth, and it's only Love that empowers you to find your way in the dark. So with all respect to Shakespeare, I must say that Love is not blind, most definitely and positively!

Change is always inevitable, because nothing stays still forever. You can't stop the Change, but you can surely do your best to manage it most effectively. When you can't stop the rising waves, you must strive to be the best at surfing. You'll then enjoy riding the waves, instead of being drowned by them. The same strategy applies to riding the waves of challenges, especially when the tides get high in the ocean of life.

Destiny doesn't stay in the stars, but she lives within our characters IMO. Our characters are governed by our actions, while our actions are driven by our thoughts. So ultimately it's our thoughts that truly control our Destiny. Who we're today, and who we'll become tomorrow is thus purely directed by our thought process. Hence, thinking positively becomes the key to awesome "Now" and amazing "Tomorrow". Destiny is never a matter of chance, but a matter of choice that we make every moment. So, think positively - always!
