Evidently today wasn't the game I wanted or hoped to play. I tried until the end but it is not a day I am going to remember, even so, this week has been a very important week for me in which I have recovered sensations which I haven't felt on a tennis court for some time.

I think I am a complete player. I can play well on all the surfaces. For me, the clay might be easiest, but I am not a specialist on clay.

Honestly, what can I say? I am super happy, after all the things that I went through in my career in terms of injuries, I never thought at the age of 33 and a half that I will have this trophy in my hands again.

I think this trophy is the work of the whole year, a great year in all terms, this trophy with me is a big personal satisfaction.

The level that I kept during the first 45 minutes, you can't really maintain that, it was almost the. top level, the highest level I could play.

This has been a complicated week for me, especially at the start. Today I enjoyed playing tennis again, I lost against a top rival and I was competitive until the end, what I needed to do was play more games like this to have a chance of victory. It has been a good base for what is to come. There are some victories which hurt you and others which can help you and this is one of those.
