Right now we're still floundering around, everyone's worried, but eventually people are going to start saying 'Oh, there is a blue sky, there is a light at the end of the tunnel'.

There are increasing signs that the U.S. economy is starting to gain some traction, it's really what everyone's been waiting for.

I still think you're voting with the wind here, I don't know which way this is going to go, it's probably still too close to call.

It's cheaper to make things, cheaper to drive your car, you know? more consumers have more spending power and so on and so forth.

It's symptomatic of a changing of the guard in the market, I think there's a re-evaluation going on, people have given up on this year, now they're looking at what they're going to do for next year, are things in fact going to get better and if so, at what stage do you step in and put a few marbles on some bets.

We're their biggest trading partner, we're going to get dragged along for the ride, it doesn't mean we're going to have robust or fabulous growth here but I think the downside has been seen.

It's emotion, it's sentiment, and the market is getting pushed back and forth, let the tidal wave, the tsunami play itself out and then we'll figure out what's going on.

As soon as I get some sense of sanity and rational decision making, that's probably exactly what I'll do.

People are beginning to sense that the big blowout downside to $20 or something may not happen, no one can pick the bottom, but you start buying from time to time in energy.

The trend in the last couple of days has been a reassessment of the short-term growth prospects out of the States.

We are still concerned about how Canada is going to weather the energy storm. We just have to get ourselves through this, if there's another month or two of relative stability in the energy sector, we probably could see some interest in M&A activity coming back.

The market is exhausted. We've not seen volatility like this in years, a lot of players haven't seen this ever in their careers.

We're still suffering from the misery of the OPEC decision. The Canadian oil patch is really taking it on the chin, it will take a little time for this shock to work its way through.
