Forgiving their school loans is the least we can do to recognize their service and sacrifice, these veterans have suffered permanent and total disability as a direct result of their service to our country. They and their families have sacrificed health, quality of life, and often their dreams for the future. Many have lost their ability to work and pay off any school debt.
