Generally, foreign policy has not been a major issue for voters because they don’t feel as if it affects them directly. I think the midterms are going to be about the economy, the direction of the country, whether they think Trump has been doing a good job.

If Putin does back down, it would be a modest foreign policy victory for Biden, and it would likely strengthen NATO, which would be a good thing, i doubt the Ukraine issue, if diplomatically resolved now, will matter much in the midterms nine months from now.

It’s a simple, balanced, thoughtful, reasonable proposal, and I do believe it will pass.

There is obviously huge risk there, you get to a point to where the math doesn't work anymore. I don't think we're there, but you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's not daylight. It's a train coming to run you over.

While you have a lot of concentrated spending in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston metro area because of competitive congressional and state House campaigns, there is a great opportunity for the Biden campaign to invest in the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, El Paso, if you are looking at a neck-and-neck presidential race [in the state] that is going to be won perhaps at the margin you need a presidential campaign to spend in those [areas].
