He tries to talk to more people about the vision he articulates, and he's confident that if he can do that with enough people, he'll be successful. he would hold rallies and he would get the rolling track of how many actual people attended the rallies, just because he wanted to know what percent of the eventual electorate he actually talked to, basically, in person.

Look, I have worked for him off and on for 30 years, I managed his Senate mapping in 2006, a very vicious race where we were attacked on television and elsewhere, we never went negative and I think voters appreciated that.

Young people are attracted to Bernie's positive and future oriented message, and we think that is a message that will as be appealing to older voters, too.

It is obvious that older voters need more information about Bernie Sanders, his record and his agenda, while it is true that many seniors are online, many seniors are also not and this campaign a lot of younger voters have learned about Bernie's campaign on social media and online, so I think it is fair to say that younger voters are more familiar with him.

We want to be confident we can get to the bottom of how data is handled at the DNC, i think all the campaign need to know what the status is.

The failings of one or three or four young people who have made misjudgments in campaign is not cause for them to issue a death penalty on The Sanders campaign.

I think if you look at the pattern of conduct — we've obviously had concern about the Saturday night debate schedule and its impact on the ability of campaigns to get The DNC out -- in this case it looks like The DNC are trying to help The Sanders campaign.

They wanted to make some last-minute changes to the debate. We obviously wanted to keep the format to what had been agreed to and I think people on our staff argued vigorously to that and were successful, we ended up prevailing.

I don't think it tempers the tone of the debate, we are going to have a debate on a wide range of issues. There will certainly be a lot of discussion, I am, about foreign policy, ISIS and how we defeat terrorism.

Look, she has far more experience on foreign policy but I think if you look at who has the judgment on foreign policy, we will see who prevails.

Thousands of Americans have come out to see Bernie speak and we've seen a great response to his message, this ad marks the next phase of this campaign. We're bringing that message directly to the voters of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Bernie's big base of small donors may give again and again, what is clear now is that this campaign to transform America will have the resources to fight all the way to the convention.

I think we're going to talk about issues of importance to the black community, i think we're going to talk about criminal justice reform. I think we're going to talk about dealing with systemic racism. I think we're going to talk about many of the economic issues that are important to African-American voters.

We're raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour that will give 50% of African-American workers a raise, these are issues that are obviously important to all of America, but in many cases because of the disproportionate amount of poverty in the African-American community, many of these issues will affect this community even more strongly.

We would love to have debates: The more debates, the better, it's healthy for the Democratic Party to have more debates.
