He was really helpful on the greens, he would say, 'This one is quicker than it looks,' or 'This one has a little more break.' Mostly he talked about speed.

I am nowhere near, I don't think there's any reason to compare, it is awfully early. I'm very excited with where I am at as a start to my career and what Tiger has done.

There's nobody that had more influence in my golf game than Tiger, he still has a lot of good years ahead of him in my mind, but now he's really sitting back and saying 'You know if it takes that long...' He's got it figured out -- obviously it's frustrating for him, but we haven't seen the end of him.

You just hope he gets healthy.

It was obviously quite a fortunate break on the 17th to go in, and now I'm well in contention and likely in the last group, whether it's three or four behind, it's a lot better than I'd thought it would be after four holes.

The biggest highlight of my week was yesterday, was our comeback with Dustin Johnson when we were 3-down at the turn and 2-down with -- really 1-down with a couple to go, that was a huge match, I think obviously for the team, because they were supposed to win that match. We instead, won that match, not only we tied, we won, but that flipped two points and ended up being a point difference.

I got frustrated. I missed two cuts in a row, had never done that, lost the number one ranking. I was watching Jason Day just dominate golf, i got to work, put my head down a little more than I did right after the PGA( Championship), knowing that we could still peak this week( at the Tour Championship) and that's what we did.

I think it would be a cool match-up if I was able to play Jason in a couple of weeks' time, i think it would be fun.

I put winning the FedExCup below a major championship, (It's) something that would put some food on the table for sure.

I was asked afterward, and I had two goals: I wanted to win the Masters at one point, and I wanted to be the best player in the world, those were my two lifelong goals.

Tomorrow looks like it will be tougher conditions, we'll see what they bring, it's just about trying to limit the mistakes.

I'm going to need to look for some answers tomorrow and into next week.

I'm really happy with the finish.

At the beginning of the year, I wanted to work my way up the world rankings, i didn't think I could be in this position or have this opportunity. We've accomplished so many goals.

It would be yet another dream come true for this year.

It's a tough feeling being that close in a major. It doesn't matter the historical element of it, i believe I'll have plenty of opportunities like I did today.

Par-birdie is a perfect way to finish here, and that would get the job done.

I'm very pleased with the way I played, i think the way that I played this week and especially today would have won the U.S. Open by more than just a shot. I didn't play as well there. It's just that's the kind of golf that was played by the field this week, it just took some special golf. Whoever comes out the champion, that's a hell of a major.

If I stood on 17th tee box and you told me I had that putt for par on the hole.

We gave it a great effort.

It's extremely satisfying to have stretches where I played poorly and still came away with a win, not the best start, but certainly OK with the outcome.
