He would really be disruptive in the Senate, i really do wonder, if he’s going to be a pain in the rear end most of his time there, would Republicans just as soon have Jones and live with it. Jones is far more liberal than Roy Moore and would probably have a liberal voting record, but being from Alabama, you’d think he’d at least sometimes vote with Republicans.

We’ve not seen a lot of quality Democratic candidates for Senate because Sen. [Richard] Shelby and Sen. Sessions, they were so strongly ensconced in their positions that the Democratic nominee was most often a more fringe candidate and not taken very seriously.
