I am happy when I am on Tour, but I am happy without the Tour. I am happy being at home, being with the friends, being with the family, playing some golf, being out with the boat, i enjoy life outside of the Tour, but I really know that this kind of life can wait. So I am happy outside of tennis, but of course I am not happy when I am not on the Tour because I am injured.

Me and my coaches knew he (Struff) was going to play aggressively, it was one of those matches where every point counts, he put me under a lot of pressure so I had to play through that but my serve was solid throughout, i'm aware that I was facing someone who has beaten Tsitsipas and Goffin this week so I'm very happy that I was able to win.

The first two rounds I played more than well enough to win. I had two confident scores against two good players, the second set( there) were a little bit more mistakes and the wind was even( greater) later in the match. These things are part of the game and just try to be ready for it... You have to adapt. You have to find solutions.

I warmed up today and I felt that my knee was not good to compete at the level I needed to compete in semi-final, it's tough for me to accept all these things that I'm going through in my career.

I am still excited about starting another season, at the age of 32-and-a-half, I never expected when I was 23, 22 to still do what I am. That's something that I appreciate a lot, and I enjoy that fact.

With all these issues... to be able to manage to keep winning important things, French Open has been, not a miracle, but an amazing year in terms of quality of tennis.

Novak is one of the best players of our history of this sport, my answer is he's not coming back ; he's there always. Sometimes when you come back from injuries is difficult to play that well from the beginning, but he played a great event in Rome, and is no doubt one of the candidates to win here.

I have to enjoy moments like winning in Monte Carlo and Barcelona because they are unique sensations and I know I'm not going to always keep having them, he( Tsitsipas) started well but I quickly started to understand his way of playing, I got an early break and it was uphill for him from then on.

Evidently today wasn't the game I wanted or hoped to play. I tried until the end but it is not a day I am going to remember, even so, this week has been a very important week for me in which I have recovered sensations which I haven't felt on a tennis court for some time.

This tournament marks the start of my favorite part of the season, i know that I have to play better than what I did. I'm working to be playing well again as soon as possible. If I did not believe in my chances, I would not be here. I would be doing other stuff, because I already achieved all the things I needed to do in my career. I still have the passion and motivation to keep playing tennis.

Evidently, when you recover five points (in a row) as well as playing well you have to have some luck, you can’t do it without luck. Carlos was playing bravely and serving well, in the end I managed to be more dynamic and aggressive and place my shots well.

I’m happy for Juan (to reach the final) after he’d been having injury niggles and as a good friend I hope it goes well for him... and also for myself it’s a thrill to be in my first Buenos Aires final and my first of the year.

I’ve come here with a different motivation because I’ve had a spell that wasn’t good for me because for the last seven months I’ve been fairly inactive and had complications, i’m closer to the level I want to reach which is why I feel I’m taking little steps forward and that’s good. Recovery is like a ladder which you don’t climb running but rather step by step.

Physically I’m good. In Rio de Janeiro, I don’t think I had a bad week. I won good matches and lost one which I shouldn’t have lost, although it’s also true that the timetable of the previous match was strange.

I know to play well I need to play 70 percent of forehands, 30 percent of backhands, if I'm not doing that, I know I'm not doing the right thing on court.
