We had Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney. If it's just whoever's next up, that hasn't worked so well for the Republican party in the past, jeb's a good man. You're not going to hear me speak ill will of Jeb ... I just think voters are going to look at this and say, 'If we're running against Hillary Clinton, we'll need a name from the future -- not a name from the past -- to win.'.

This is one where we listened to the people all across the country, particularly border governors who saw how this President messed that up and that's an issue where I think people want leaders who are willing to listen to the people on that.

I even have Hillary's private email, it goes right to her campaign headquarters. You know, it's [email protected].

It sends a powerful message across the country and around the world, this is one more tool that will help grow good-paying, family-supporting jobs here in the state of Wisconsin, particularly in the areas where you need them in manufacturing.

I don’t believe in amnesty, we need to secure the border. We ultimately need to put in place a system that works -- a legal immigration system that works.

I'm not comparing those two entities, what I meant was, it was about … the leadership we provided under extremely difficult circumstances, arguably, the most difficult of any governor in the country, and maybe in recent times.To me, I apply that to saying if I were to run and if I were to win and be commander in chief, I believe that kind of leadership is what's necessary to take on radical Islamic terrorism.

We need a leader who will stand up and say we will take the fight to them and not wait until they take the fight to American soil, if I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same in the rest of the world.

People in American want a fresh face, they want big, bold ideas from outside Washington and they want someone who has got a proven track record.

You've seen in the media a lot of talk over the last few days about these self-manufactured 'gotcha' moments from the media, well they want to talk about things that I don't think most Americans want to talk about.

To me, this is a classic example of why people hate Washington and, increasingly, they dislike the press, the things they care about don't even remotely come close to what you're asking about.

The mayor can speak for himself, i'm not going to comment on whether, what the president thinks or not. He can speak for himself. I'll tell you I love America, and I think there are plenty of people Democrat, Republican, independent and everybody in between who love this country.

Regardless of political party, no one wants to criticize the sitting President in that way because it can be taken the wrong way by a lot of people, but there is a concern and an alarm out there about the nature of this threat we're facing in the Middle East.

The big thing I thought Mitt Romney's campaign missed more than anything was we already knew the narrative that the economy was failing, and that there was a compelling case to get rid of the president, what we never heard — or at least didn't hear very clearly — was why Mitt Romney would be a better alternative.
