Well, it’s the press’ job to speak truth to power, just because Biden has gotten a pass so far, which he has and continues to do, it’s in no one’s best interest to treat him like it’s state TV.

The problem I have is this woman is doing this internationally. I’m just going to rip the Band-Aid off, I am here to tell all of you, my wonderful co-hosts and the viewers at home, that this is going to be my last season here at ‘The View,’ this was not an easy decision, it took a lot of thought and counsel and prayer and talking to my family and close friends, and, you know, look, COVID has changed the world for all of us, and it changed the way I am looking at life, the way I am living my life, what I want my life to look like, and when I said ‘goodbye’ to all of you in the studio, over a year and a half ago, I had just found out I was pregnant. I left the city very quickly because my OB/GYN wanted me to leave because he wasn’t sure how COVID could possibly impact pregnant women.

I think you can call it whatever you want because your influence in the Republican Party is almost zero, and again, as I’ve said on this show, it is for us to figure out amongst ourselves.

My other problem with this is I don’t understand why we all can’t have shared experiences in this space, or have our own stories, because for some reason my relationship with the flag isn’t allowed anymore. My love of the American flag, my love of the national anthem.

There is an oppressive climate of judgment in public life these days. And I worry that whenever people feel censored, it breeds animosity and discontent. Not to mention that it’s downright un-American, we’re pushing people into boxes and into spaces that are sad and dangerous on both sides because we’re not listening to one another.

A lot of people in my life have been hit really, really hard by the past few years and I didn't want to say ‘Here, spend $25, $29 on this book,' it's much easier for me to be like, ‘You have Audible?’.

My dad's cancer and my miscarriage, it's not politics, it's not ‘The View,’ it's not like Arizona. It is a miscarriage. Women talk to me about miscarriages and people talk to me about cancer.

There are a lot of doors that have been opened for me. There's a lot of people that will want to talk to me because my last name is McCain.

So the biggest gift that Republicans have ever been given is the term 'defund the police.' And let's make it very clear: Republicans didn’t come up with that. I thought it was the stupidest thing I ever heard when I first heard it being used.

You want to talk about nepotism? Not having to talk about the biggest scandal in the country when it has to do with your brother and you’re hosting CNN, that’s nepotism. The Cuomo family and CNN are the worst kinds of nepotism that the media has an example of, if it were my brother and he had been accused of this, you'd be damn straight I would be talking about it on 'The View' this morning, and that makes all of them cowards.

On a professional note, this show is one of, hands down, the most greatest, exhilarating, wonderful privileges of my entire life and I have had so many amazing experiences in my life.
