I like to think of myself as somebody who heals fast and can play through pain, but I'm not going to rush it at the same time. A sprained ankle, those are things I can fight through.

I've been around older guys most of my life; I feel like that's definitely an advantage for me.

These first few years, it's more trying to figure it out. What's going on in the NBA? Where do I fit in? Then my second year, I'm a player. 'Can he actually start?' I played pretty well my second year. My third year, now I gotta solidify myself. Now I'm here, and it's about winning for me.

If it's playmaking, I'll do that. If it's scoring I'll do that. I'm trying to figure out that balance.

My whole career except for the NBA, I've been a winner. I want to get back to that.

I think Phoenix is a place where people see the potential. They see the young core that we have. They see the fan base, the wonderful city.

That's a talented team that Danny Green and the Suns could possibly see at the end, danny Green and the Suns just want to make statements. Play the right brand of basketball and wear teams down.

I don’t think we were on much of that talking until they started it, to be completely honest, it’s a long game. We’ve seen that situation plenty of times before — a team comes out, gets hots and gets comfortable. We just stuck with what we do.

We wanted to make a statement here.

We know what we're working for.

But I didn't see this many wins. I don't think on any team I've been on — coach or player — I've ever won this many games. I told the guys that — you have to relish it.

We know our main objective is to win a title, bring a championship here, but you can celebrate the little things going into it, along with the big things. Getting our whole coaching staff there would be big time.

I think they came out way too comfortable, that is not a team you want to give some confidence in and let them see a couple of easy ones go in. It was too loose. They got to do whatever they wanted.

They wanted it more and they played like it, we just have to take this loss and move on to our next game.

The whole fourth quarter was a lot of fun.

I think we learned a lot just by being in it, it was a lot of our first times in the playoffs, let alone the Finals. But it was a great experience for us. I think we set a foundation and a base for our team, and we all have stuff to work on and we understand that.

I think with the team and the capabilities of the shooters that we have on this team, that we need to generate more 3s, obviously, they’re switching a lot and staying home on shooters. So there’s just a way of figuring it out.

It’s never personal between who you’re going with, unless lines are crossed, those guys are n’t that type and I would never go that way with them, because there’s a high respect level for each other. I think that’s why we’re in the position that we’re in right now.

He's our leader. We lean on him for a lot, we know how disappointed he is and frustrated he is he couldn't be out here for Game One of the Western Conference Finals, especially knowing his past history around this time.

We felt that energy, we felt the passion. He just made plays.

Teams aren't going to let you do what you did last game, it's as simple as that, so you have to find ways to improvise. You have to find little knicks and knacks to find ways to get it done. We did that game to game, we had to make adjustments.
