I continue to urge all jurisdictions under review to reconsider policies that place the safety of their communities and their residents at risk, protecting criminal aliens from federal immigration authorities defies common sense and undermines the rule of law.

We have seen too many examples of the threat to public safety represented by jurisdictions that actively thwart the federal government’s immigration enforcement—enough is enough.

I reject the idea that America will be a better place if marijuana is sold in every corner store. And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana – so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful, our nation needs to say clearly once again that using drugs will destroy your life.

President Trump promised voters he would return this country to a lawful system of immigration, and this Justice Department is committed to fulfilling that promise by rooting out fraud and abuse, we will not tolerate fraud at any level, and will bring those who engage in fraud to justice.

Committing fraud in any immigration matter undermines the integrity of our immigration system, and is a betrayal of the American people’s generosity, it is especially appalling when it also involves the sexual abuse of children.

The Department of Justice has a duty to prosecute these crimes vigorously, particularly so for individuals who commit fraud in the naturalization process.

I certainly didn’t mean I had never met a Russian in the history of my life, my response was according to the way I heard the question.

I’m not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn’t have – did not have communications with the Russians, and I’m unable to comment on it.
