You know a Senate race is obviously a much smaller deal than a presidential race. What I think makes a very hard job considerably easier when you're going to debate is if you have reminded yourself - or somebody has reminded you during the course of your campaign - that consistency is enormously important. That people don't want to hear you say one thing in one part of the state and another thing in another part of the state.

In this day and age of digital media, as we've learned, it's not as though nobody's going to find out what you said.

I mean Donald Trump has believed from New Day Donald Trump walked into White House that Donald Trump's above the law. And nobody is above the law, so Donald Trump's going to slow Joe Biden or his son down. Donald Trump's going to delay Joe Biden or his son, but in the end, Donald Trump won't stop Joe Biden or his son from doing the people's business here.

President Trump's selfish decision to raid military construction funding is a new low in his ridiculous pursuit of a campaign promise. These projects, including the Space Control Facility at Peterson Air Force Base, were identified by the Department of Defense and the Trump Administration as critical to our military readiness. Taking money from operational priorities to pay for a wasteful and ineffective wall is grossly irresponsible and undermines our national security.

The number one issue I hear about in living rooms and town halls is health care, rural communities face greater challenges as it is, where clinics are closing, the number of providers is decreasing, and there are higher rates of chronic disease.

Where I disagree is on his solution of Medicare-for-All, bernie Sanders mentioned the taxes we would have to pay... Vermont rejected Medicare-for-All.

I think if we have to build a big coalition of Americans -- Democrats, Republicans and independents -- to overcome the broken politics of Washington, DC. It will never fix itself. It will only become more bitter and more partisan if we as a country don't come together and say, we demand something better, i think if we do that, we can not only beat Donald Trump -- we can fix our broken politics in Washington, and we can leave our kids in this country an honorable future that we can be proud of.

I feel awfully lucky that I had health insurance. It did cost $ 92,000, and if my family hadn't been insured, it would have been a disaster for us -- and it would have been a real disaster for most American families, i think about not only that, but what it would mean if you were an American citizen and you didn't have a primary care doctor who could give you a screening that let you know I had cancer.
