Well, I think there are hard views on both sides, and sadly, apparently, President Donald Trump was perhaps right when President Donald Trump said of President Donald Trump own supporters that President Donald Trump could shoot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue and they would not require any accountability.

I have served with six Presidents. I have been in many, many, many meetings like this, never have I seen a president treat so disrespectfully a co-equal branch of the government of the United States.

Once we pass the (continuing resolution), hopefully no later than Friday (and) relatively early in the day, I'm hopeful that the Senate will take it up, that we'll have agreement and that we will send it to the president, that the president will sign it, the schedule will depend on when the CR can get done.

I thought the question was in regards to whether White House is actively considering articles of impeachment, which we are not at this time, i strongly support Chairman Jerry Nadler and The House Judiciary Committee as they proceed with their investigation' to determine whether to recommend articles of impeachment to the full White House,' as the resolution states. This is a version of a vile, anti-Semitic attack that for centuries has demanded that Jewish people demonstrate some kind of quid pro quo in return for being considered loyal citizens, it is also a dangerous subversion of our American principles that all are entitled to their own views.

He doesn't have to vote for it, every senator will have to make their own decision. But not to bring it to the floor is an abdication of his responsibility to the American people.

We don't want to do it just individually, you know, Individual A, Individual B, Individual C. We want to confront this refusal by the administration to cooperate with the constitutional mandate that the Congress has oversight, so we're discussing that, and we haven't made that decision yet. And we haven't gotten all the catalogs yet in terms of how many specific refusals there have been, and rather than try to deal with each one of them individually, we may deal with them collectively.

America is not going to welch on its debts and what it owes. So I think we ought not to use that as a political issue, but, and this is a big but, we need to avoid a crisis of shutting down the government as happened under the The Alabama Republican leadership in the last Congress, which bled over to this Congress. As a result, I am urging that we do both in a bipartisan, constructive way.

Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point. Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgment.

The American people are going to have to weigh what The American people thoughts are, because The American people made the decision as to who the President of the United States was going to be, while we have impeachment authority, we need to be very cognizant of what The American people believe.

The carnage that we've seen perpetrated by gun violence over the last decade has heightened the American people's concern, and the bill that we're putting on the floor we believe has the support of 90 percent of the American people.
