I think his preparation has been excellent, i think he sees the field well. He’s got some good players around him, but he’s also making really good throws. His timing is right, he’s seeing the field, making good decisions. And so that is allowing us to run the offense and to be very efficient.

I think he knows that this is just an opportunity, it’s not an accomplishment, it’s an opportunity, and I think he looked at it like that. Now we got to go about the business of going to put it on the field.

Any time you deal with that, and lose people, it is a gut punch, but its not something were not used to. Weve had starters all over the place down. Weve just found ways to work through it. You can feel sorry for yourself, or you can continue to work on and push through it. For us, thats why the story about this season is so amazing to me. We continue to push through despite all these difficult challenges along the way, and [its] no different this week. We got a new set of challenges this week. Were going to have to figure it out, go down to Miami and play.

The best part about Trey is when all that was going on, he never came into my office, never complained, never said I need more carries, none of that stuff, just kept his mouth shut and kept going to work. I think that is the best part of this whole story, is he just kept going every single day to work and never said anything about it. And now hes playing at a high, high level.

We owe The Big Ten to these kids to exhaust every single option we possibly can and then we go from there, but doing that right now, to me, right now, would be abrupt.

Our university is committed to playing no matter what, no matter what that looks like and how that looks, we certainly hope it's in the Big Ten. If it isn't, I think we're prepared to look for other options.
