I think we're going to talk about issues of importance to the black community, i think we're going to talk about criminal justice reform. I think we're going to talk about dealing with systemic racism. I think we're going to talk about many of the economic issues that are important to African-American voters.

There was a rightward drift in the Democratic Party in the'80s and'90s, the rank and file of the party has rejected.

There are only so many $ 2800 checks to go around, we don't have to raise the most money. We can do it with a little less than other campaigns. There is no concern about falling behind the other folks.

At the end of the day, you got 10 people each night in a two-hour block. Until the race sort of narrows down, you're not really going to have, I think, a lot of substantive back-and-forth between the candidates. Just because there's not enough time to do it.

He tries to talk to more people about the vision he articulates, and he's confident that if he can do that with enough people, he'll be successful. he would hold rallies and he would get the rolling track of how many actual people attended the rallies, just because he wanted to know what percent of the eventual electorate he actually talked to, basically, in person.

As Jeff Weaver often tells me, it was like,'... I wasn't somebody who was born and groomed to be president of the United States. I don't have to be president of the United States.'.

I think the party is being responsive to the grass roots. I think that's a positive thing, we've got a ways to go -- obviously the full DNC has to approve the changes that were approved here -- but I think everybody here is committed to the reforms that were passed and I look forward to a positive result in August.

Anybody who follows Bernie Sanders for one day and sees his schedule, and how rigorous it is, and how he drives everybody around him, works them into the ground with the amount of work and energy he has, I think they would understand that his chronological age is just not really a measure of his true age, bernie Sanders is an extremely energetic and vigorous person, and has more energy, I would say, than people half his age.

Many of the same issues that resonated in Michigan with Democrats there are going to resonate in Ohio, the auto industry there was also severely damaged. There are a lot of people in Ohio who are hurting. That's an industrial state. Same in Illinois. Same in Missouri.

Working Americans chipping in a few dollars every week are changing the way campaigns in our country are financed, not only are we going to smash Secretary Clinton's personal goal of raising $50 million in the first quarter of 2016, our supporters are putting Bernie on the path to win the nomination.

Obviously there was some confusion, we would not want anyone making a misrepresentation of who they are. To the extent that happened, I am unhappy about that.

The DNC has said it is not going to sanction any more debates until after February 9th, we look forward to working with the DNC and the other campaigns to schedule a series of debates to follow those currently scheduled. Our position will be that there should be at least three or four more.

What we are seeing in Iowa in terms of the momentum in the race ... people who were here back then ... say there (are) a lot of similarities.

At every stop, the media had an explanation for why the crowds weren't significant, 5,000 people here? 'Oh, that's Bernie's home city.' New Hampshire, 'Oh, that's next door.' We went to Minneapolis and had 4,000 people -- 'Oh, well, that's the Frost Belt. Frost Belt people like him.' Then we went to Denver, and it was 'college liberals.'.
