I thought we were going to go down with the guys that were swinging, that group was giving it to us physically -- what did( Indiana) score in the fourth quarter ? Nine points ? They were just scrapping and that's what the playoffs are about : fight, toughness and for whatever reason we didn't start the game that way.

Tonight was a disappointing effort. I thought we competed the last three quarters but in the first quarter we did not compete, we participated, and that's not acceptable.

I thought we came out with too much respect at the beginning of the game and were on our heels instead of coming out attacking the way we did the last few games without Ricky and Kevin.

There's only one LeBron James, you put him on any team and he's going to be a difference-maker. Everybody on that organization, their level has gone up because he's on their team.

Jay Wright does a great job of preparing his guys for the NBA. Well-prepared, knows the game, coachable, doesn’t take coaching as criticism. That comes from being with coach Wright the whole time.

I was proud of the way the guys played, there’s so many learning situations for young players and our guys to play against a great team like the Lakers. We have no margin for error, but the effort, the togetherness, the mental toughness is what we’re trying to build.
