I must say I didn't enjoy that walk last year like everyone else did, i never took the fight to Tiger.

Going up against the number one player in the world today, he got one over me in Memphis and I wanted to get some revenge, to play like that alongside Brooks, get the win, win the FedEx Cup, it's awesome.

I had a lot of good (approach yardage) numbers where I could go ahead and make a full committed swing, i just dialled my distances in today with the wedges. It worked today. One of my goals was to hit it pin high and I hit it pin high most of the day.

These greens are so pure if you get it on line and get it rolling properly, i've holed a lot of putts this week.

I lost my swing in the middle of the round, stared missing shots left, i hit a really good tee shot on 14 and that turned things around for me and I made some good swings coming home.

I think what they've started to do at Open championships, to accommodate spectators, they've taken a lot of the gorse bushes away so Carnoustie last year I hit driver everywhere, i'm not expecting to do that at Portrush (but) it might be a case of like Carnoustie last year where I (arrive) thinking I'm only going to hit three or four drivers during the round but in actual fact it could be more like seven or eight, or nine or 10.

It's just so hard for me to wrap my head around the new layout, i keep calling them the old hole numbers.

Fairways, greens, it sounds boring, it sounds cliche but that's what you need to do out here, look, it's not going to be easy over the weekend, you're going to make bogeys, you're going to make mistakes, it's going to happen. And if I can keep responding to those mistakes like I did today I'll be right there.

To do all that hard work over the first 12 holes, and then to lose it in two holes, 13 and 14 was disappointing.

I probably missed four or five yards right of where I needed to, and it came back down the hill, and then you're in an awkward spot.

I definitely didn't give it away, i know I've done some stupid things in the past, but that would have been right up there.

When I had that run in' 14, I didn't really celebrate it too much, it was almost as if I was playing an eight-round tournament, and that's how I feel here. I've played really well these four days and it sets me up for next week.
