When I was 25, it's quite easy, after a couple of weeks of practice, it's quicker to get going whereas now it takes a little bit longer, i've made quite big changes to the way I train off the court as well. But the weight and things like that, that's my fault. I've never had that in my career before.

We arrived here a week before our first match, which I think everyone considered to be pretty early, i was taking the match very seriously today. But when you have a child, maybe that becomes your priority for a period of time. Maybe I could have got on the practice courts sooner.

I've got a third one coming so I will have three kids under four years old, when I have been off Tour my family has got bigger so I need to get back on the road so we don't get out of control.

It's amazing to be back playing against Stan in a final like that, he was playing unbelievable, i never expected to be in this position so I'm very happy. Stan was hitting winners from everywhere but I managed to hang in there. This is one of my biggest wins after everything.

I'm really tired, I just had a sleep before coming, that's the first time I've had to do that since I came back. It's something that I need to kind of get used to again, especially playing at this level and that intensity.

I'm really looking forward to be going back to Shanghai, a tournament I have had success at in the past – the last time I was there was in 2016, thanks to the tournament for a wildcard, it's great to be able to continue my comeback and play more tennis in China.

I'm not going to play doubles at the U.S. Open, my goal is to get back playing at the level that I want to on the singles court, and I've decided that I need to focus all my energies on that right now.

I have zero pain, im not expecting to be moving as well as I used to, but I still think I can probably move better than I am now. But that will take time. I started playing singles a couple weeks ago.

Obviously Ill find out on the court tomorrow if I have doubts about my movement and how my hip and stuff is feeling, but Ive done what I could to make that easy on Andy Murray, theres nothing for me to worry about, but I know its easy to say that but when you get on the court, psychologically it can be tricky.

I know how bad I felt in Australia and how bad I felt the last year that I played singles here, and I feel better now than I did then, so if physically I can get back to a good level, my tennis is still fine. I'm sure that tennis-wise, I will be able to keep up with guys.

But that's what I was saying the other day, that this might be my last match, if I go ahead with the operation, I don't recover well from it, then I don't play again. I'm aware of that.

I can play with limitations but having the limitations and the pain is not allowing me to enjoy competing or training, wimbledon is where I would like to stop playing but I am not certain I am able to do that.

If he's able to focus for three, four hours at a time, do it over the space of two weeks, there's no reason why he can't compete, if you're getting that many free points with your serve. You don't actually have to win that many points and play that many long rallies and stuff.

Obviously, Wimbledon for me is special for a lot of reasons. I always want to be here competing, it feels a little bit odd coming into the tournament this year. Normally, like at this stage I feel really nervous, lots of pressure, and I expect a lot of myself around this time of year.

How I'm going to feel if I play for four hours in the first match? I can't answer that question honestly, i need to be mindful of how I'm feeling on a day-to-day basis. Right now you can't say for 100 percent certainty when you only started competing 10 days ago how you're going to feel after every match and each day.
