I would imagine that investors would look for certain financial reforms in order to dive in, a consistent application of the rule of law is paramount. ... Not sure China is quite there yet.

It's easy to forecast a more bullish outlook for India. But then you layer on climate and it's a very different thing, climate will ultimately be the driver.

Uncertainty will be a multi-year event, which will clearly benefit the U.S. from rates to risk assets (except for financials), as the U.S. will benefit from capital flows.

I think it is a bullish U.S. asset story period, if this thing does happen, i think it will be a great buying opportunity for U.S. assets, from Treasuries to high-yield' junk' bonds. It may not be an immediate response of a U.S. rally, but I do believe it will be a buying opportunity which will unfold in the medium/long term.
