If it charges at us and we are already sure it's the right one, we are going to kill it, if we aren't sure if it's the right one, we are going to try and get out of the way. If we don't feel like we can get out of the way, we got to kill it.

It's probably the most awesome part of what it means to be a hunter and a provider, this is one of the biggest parts, because meat is very important to survival out here.

This whole village is going to live off this rhino meat for a while, so it means the world to me to see this right now.

Maybe 100 years from now -- maybe it's delusions of grandeur -- but I hope people will look at it and say this was the turning point that got people to understand what it means to be a conservationist.

I think people have a problem just with the fact that I like to hunt, i want to see the black rhino as abundant as it can be. I believe in the survival of the species.

I think people think of it as this docile thing, but you are dealing with an extremely athletic animal that can do whatever it wants to you very quickly.

At this point, the whole world knows about this hunt and I think it's extremely important that people know it's going down the right way, in the most scientific way that it can possibly happen.
