I'm an optimist on the economy. We've had this ugly litany of news flow -- impeachment, Brexit, protests in Hong Kong. But it's remarkable that the US is now heading into the eleventh year of expansion and ingredients are still in place for a good economy.

Investors are eager to find areas of the market in which there are still prospects of above-average revenue and earnings growth given that we are in the ninth year of economic cycle, investors are focused on areas where potential is still there with technology being one of them.

The reaction of U.S. equities to oil, China and other external factors tells us more about the internal status of the market, stocks are slightly overvalued even with the recent pullback and what we need is a rebound in corporate earnings.
