If you become an actor you want to be a successful actor; but with success comes a lot of things. Some of it's great! It's great to be able to pay your rent from the work that you do.

If you can figure out what their motivation is, then you're ahead of the game. I think that's why a lot of people who are in this industry don't have a lot of friends - but have a lot of acquaintances - because you never know what everyone's ulterior motives are.

I don't think there's a problem with dating somebody outside of your race, as long as you're doing it because you want to be with that person. Everybody tells you what you should do when you're dating, but if you follow your heart, it usually works out.

I saw The Empire Strikes Back the week that it came out. My father was a huge Star Wars fan. And so when it came out, my dad took me.

You flip the switch. Flip the switch and go into work mode. You're a professional, so be a professional. You can take care of your problems later, but you still have to go to work. You still have to make things happen. One bad day could turn into a bad year if you're not careful. Or, a bad rest of your life if you're not careful. Because of one day!

You just have those days. You just allow yourself to have those days. I think everybody has bad days. So because of that, when you recognize it, just allow it to be. It is what it is. I don't think you should ever stifle your frustration, ever.

We've been trained to spend money since we were born with all these commercials with toys and G.I. Joes and Transformers. But there's so many things in the supermarket, there's so many things on television that automatically, when you turn it on, are saying, 'Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy!'

Now's the time to teach your 5-year-old kid about financing. If they can add, I suggest that you start teaching them about saving that money. And how their money can add up in the future. I think the more you prepare your children for the future, the better off they'll be.

I think origin stories are a great way to get people reinvested in a story. I mean, we originally accepted 'Star Trek' without knowing anything about Kirk or Spock. All we needed to know was that it took place in the future.

When you're on, like, NBC, or - I don't want to call out any names. But when you're on bigger networks, they just want to find something that sticks and aren't really necessarily trying to develop anything. On TV Land, they've developed 'The Exes.'
