It's interesting that the banks have been under pressure, because they are really still pretty darn solid ... the banks are becoming pretty good value.

The Sentence has no end. Sometimes I think it had no beginning. Now I salute its authors, which means all of us. You have made a wild, precious, awful, delicious, lovable, tragic, vulgar, fearsome, divine thing.

I think we're into our period of seasonal weakness, which usually runs from mid-August to mid-October, it's way overdue. And it should go further. We need a good decline to destabilize the market and get it ready again.

There should be some follow through this week on New York hitting new highs, though it's going to be slow.

The market is struggling. Investors are sitting and watching. There's not a lot of buying enthusiasm.

The market is going through a pause. It's likely that oil could go lower one level from here.

The pendulum swings can go either way. Oil may want to retreat and test its lows before it goes up again, we held on to our oil stocks for a bounce, and they are bouncing.

We don't think the price of oil can stay down very long. But energy shares are going to go through a wild up-and-down phase, we may have to test low levels before going up again.
