It was always my dream to win two gold medals in the 2022 Olympics and place them around the neck of our child, when we were told by doctors that this might not be possible, I put all my efforts into winning two gold medals in 2022.

It's so crazy to hear that stat and to know that I'm part of a legacy that's bigger than me, hopefully it just encourages more and more black athletes to come out to winter sports and not just black athletes, winter sports for everybody.

I was so honored to be named the opening ceremony flagbearer, but after not being able to carry the flag, it’s even more humbling to lead the United States at the closing ceremony, congratulations to my fellow Team USA athletes on all their success in Beijing. I'm looking forward to carrying the flag with my teammates by my side and closing out these Games.

I'm just going to go out there and have fun tomorrow, it's been a long journey and I'm just going to enjoy the heck out of it. I feel really good right now. I'm going to go get some rest and get after it tomorrow. It's a whole new day tomorrow.
