It will be immediately appealed and therefore won't have any immediate impact on Pennsylvania's upcoming elections. The issue will now go before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and we are confident that Act 77 will ultimately be upheld as constitutional.

And I spend a great deal of time talking about that, but they also kind of instinctively understand that the foundation for the work we need to do on all of that rests with making sure we've got a free election, where when you pick candidate A or candidate B, your vote actually counts.

When I launched my campaign for governor in October, long before we knew who I would be facing, I said that voting rights and democracy would be on the ballot here in Pennsylvania, it's still on the ballot. There's just such a clear contrast between me and my opponent on this issue.

Who we elect as our next governor will quite literally decide whether women's reproductive freedoms continue to exist in Pennsylvania.

I'm someone who wants to protect a woman's right to choose. He will ban abortion. I'm someone who wants to expand voting rights in Pennsylvania. He's looking to restrict them, we think it's important that the people of Pennsylvania... know that there's a clear contrast between he and I.

I will, of course, veto it.

They're inextricably linked, if you're trying to take away their vote or make their vote not count, then you're basically saying they don't get to be part of the conversation.

Although two legal audits have already been completed in Pennsylvania, Senator Mastriano is now requesting a laundry list of confidential and privileged information from three Pennsylvania counties in continued efforts to pay homage to former President Donald Trump and further spread misinformation about our elections.

Taking advantage of people and their privacy under the guise of serving as a nonprofit is not only unethical -- it can also be against Pennsylvania law.

These claims were meritless from the start and for an audience of one. The will of the people will prevail. These baseless lawsuits need to end.

Theres a lot of chatter. Theres a lot of noise. The ballots are valid. Theyre lawful. And theyre being counted in Pennsylvania.

This is about bringing people into Black and Brown communities and try and intimidate them. That's what the President of the United States and his enablers are trying to do, as the chief law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I sure as hell won't let him get away with that.
