Its just been a long journey, from having those two knee surgeries and watching the team last year and finally getting chance to lace them up for the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs its nothing like it.

We did n’t talk during that time.

It was just one of those games that got funky at the end, but we’ve just got to finish it out in regulation.

We’re going to have to make our staple as a team on the defensive end, because if we’re going back and forth in a shooting contest, obviously we’ll still be in the game but can lead to mistakes on our end.

I don't take it for granted what happened tonight. It was historic and I'm grateful that I got a chance to be out there with my brothers and just leave it all out there.

We definitely felt like Ben was on our heart, if you come at Ben, you come at us.

Kev’s gonna be OK, and we’re gonna have to deal with that as his teammates, but in terms of where I am with my life outside of this, I stay rooted in my decision, and that’s just what it is, i just am standing rooted in what I believe in and though we’re dealing with this right now with Kev. I just know that I’m protected by the organization, protected by my teammates. I’m protected by all the doctors I’ve talked to, and I’m just staying rooted.

When that run happened, I think it was just a continuous sort of flow we had from the first half, we just felt like once we break this open, hit a few more 3s, make it tough for them on the defensive end — we felt like we'd have control of the game.

When the team approached me, we had a good conversation. They said, ‘We want you back,’ and I said, ‘Absolutely.’ This is always where I wanted to be. I wanted to be playing with the team in whatever capacity I can do that.

I knew the consequences. I wasn’t prepared for them in any stretch of the imagination coming into the season. I had my thought process on being able to be a full-time teammate and just go out and have fun and provide a sense of a great brand of basketball out there. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen like that.
