At the end of the day I'm not racing for recognition, I'm not racing for popularity, that's not who I am. I'm focused on the result and trying to get the best out of myself from a sporting capacity. That's what really motivates me.

We're still here to try and win the race, whatever way that is. I think it's fantastic for us to have those options. Obviously Geraint is in the perfect place now, we should see him going in to yellow over the next couple of days, but I'm still very much in the game. I think it's great for us to have those options to be able to play when it comes down to it, especially looking at rivals that have two or three options within their teams. A team like Movistar, for example, has two or three leaders.

For the last few years now there have been rumors about motors being concealed within the bikes.

I think that the beautiful thing about the Tour de France is that it's not specifically about one stage, I think it's going to take a complete cyclist, but the stage that certainly stands out for me is the stage to Mont Ventoux, i know how difficult this climb is and how much time can be won or lost on that climb.
