The net effect of these activities either directly promotes or provides cover for human trafficking operations, and the exploitation of men, women, and children at the border under the guise of ‘helping’ migrants, i support Rep. Gooden's efforts to make sure groups that facilitate these activities are no longer funded with the hard-earned tax dollars supplied by the forgotten men and women of America.

I think this is the real problem with earmarks, is that earmarks take the attention away from serious policymaking and take senators and member offices and turns them into essentially pork factories where much of their time, much of their limited resources is attempting to do the paperwork and investigate these organizations that they are then going to put their names behind, and all of that comes at the opportunity tradeoff from doing real policy reforms, being policy entrepreneurs and providing real leadership on the issues of the day.

Congressman Good's bill is the next key line of attack that both Washington and the states must take in the fight against state-sanctioned racism, teaching our children that they are less-than because of their skin color is indoctrination and a classic civil rights violation.

Many establishment Republicans are slowly awakening to this being an issue that people care about.
