Max is a serious F1 driver and that's actually really good for me, i think in a way it is good that he is having this success. If I can get on top of that then it is only good for me and probably for both of our careers.

It does make you happy when you beat these guys, who you know are cheats, you're just bitterly disappointed when you finish second, at the start, I would shake their hands but now I try not to.

For me, I don’t think that the stuff that they’re doing to Adam Goodes is racist, it’s their prerogative. Australia can have an opinion. You’re allowed to have an opinion -- that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right -- but you’re allowed to have an opinion.

It's my favorite event, just because it's the golf course each year that asks the most of you.

It has been tricky, definitely. We suffered a bit this time last year but we’re probably having a few more issues this year which I guess weren’t expected, it’s like that for now and we’ve got to try and sort it out. A little bit of whiplash here and there but it’s alright.

I’m happy now. Or happier. It’s only seventh but how the weekend has been going, I think we’ve got to be really happy with that, qualifying was the first time I got to use a soft tire this weekend and we chipped away at it. That’s what I was most pleased about, the progress we made through the session. So that’s promising.
