I don't know how they can charge someone with assaulting someone without ever having met him, this has to do with using the power of prosecution in pursuit of a social agenda.

A father believed he had the right to discipline his children. He made a mistake. In unintended consequences, his son was hurt, He pled to a court and accepted punishment and wanted to resume his career, and now the NFL has decided they’re going to be the arbiter of what’s appropriate discipline for a child and whether a person is or is not feeling significant remorse.

They looked bad in the earlier things with Ray Rice, They handled things badly publicly and now they just decided to make Adrian the scapegoat for all their past failings.

I don’t know how many men are out there now that have had a massage that perhaps occasionally there was a happy ending, maybe there’s nobody in your listening audience that that ever happened to. I do want to point out, if that has happened, it’s not a crime. Unless you are paying somebody extra or so to give you some kind of sexual activity, it’s not a crime.

Deshaun Watson vehemently denies the allegations, just as he has since she first discussed them with members of our firm in March of last year. She repeated the allegations on social media in August and he denied them then, the only thing new about her contentions is the embellishment making them more extreme than prior versions. Deshaun's denial remains the same.

Deshaun Watson did not commit any crimes and is not guilty of any offenses. Now that the criminal investigations have been completed, we are happy to move forward with the civil case depositions, we will vigorously defend those cases with every ounce we have.

I’ve always assumed that’s what would happen, that’s what a grand jury investigation is about, so there’s nothing about that, that is surprising if it’s true. I do n’t know anything personally about it. I welcome it. That’s what I’ve always assumed would happen.

So the way it stands now is they are getting their information together, they are talking to witnesses which is a normal process, they decide what witnesses to call … I’ve always welcomed any third party listening to both sides. I ’m perfectly happy with it. Obviously, We strongly believe he did n’t do anything wrong and we ’ll continue to defend him to every extent humanly possible.

When (prosecutors’) investigation is over, their findings will be presented to a grand jury. We will be given opportunity to appear ... to tell our side and we will be given an even handed hearing.
