There absolutely needs to be a very very deep dive after-the-event review of the lessons, including on the outbreak of the virus... it needs to be driven by the science, there's no doubt: we can't have business as usual after this crisis, and we'll have to ask the hard questions about how it came about and about how it could've been stopped earlier.

I don't think it is clear. I don't think those comparisons (with other countries like South Korea) are like for like because of where we are on the curve.

But we still have a long way to go, we're still not past the peak of this virus.

I've got total confidence in the arrangements that the prime minister has put in place so that I can discharge responsibility for him, deputising for him while he's out of action, and obviously we hope that will be for a very limited period of time.

The government's business will continue.

He remains in good spirits and ... his progress continues to be monitored in critical care.

He remained stable overnight. He's receiving standard oxygen treatment and breathing without any assistance. He has not required any mechanical ventilation or non-invasive respiratory support.

I'm confident that he'll pull through because, if there's one thing I know about this prime minister, he's a fighter, he'll be back at the helm leading us through this crisis in short order.

Today, I've agreed to work together to intensify international cooperation to support vulnerable countries, pursue a vaccine, protect the world economy, and enable our citizens who are stranded to get home safely.

We listened and take the concerns of our American friends very seriously, we are reasonably confident that we can do a free trade agreement (with America) in that first wave of post-Brexit trade deals.

We will be following up on some of the issues in relation to the case, I spoke to the Cypriot foreign minister about that.
