One of the hallmarks of Bob Durst is that despite all the lies he tells, he doesn’t take or use the mental energy to even remember them because his life has been spent privileged in getting away with whatever he wants, the evidence is going to show that’s going to be his undoing in a lot of ways in all three of these cases.

You’ve repeatedly admitted that if you had killed either Kathie or Susan or both of them you would never tell us, correct?

You don’t just make up lies for the sake of lying, you lie in particular when there is a reason for you to lie. And, generally speaking in this context, when it relates to incriminating evidence, correct?

He has perjured himself probably 100 times and that's not hyperbole, he's testified inconsistently with other statements he's given under oath.

This doesn’t look like someone who’s murdered three people.

She turned around because she trusted him, because he was her close friend, because he was not somebody to fear, she turned around, she took a few steps and he basically blew her brains out.

Everything starts with Kathie Durst’s disappearance and death at the hands of Mr. Durst.

It’s a get out of jail free card, the goal here is simply to have this trial go away.
