It is an egregious attack on the freedom to believe and live according to those beliefs. It would position the government to lord over churches and other faith-based institutions, dictating potentially who they hire, how their facilities are used, and even punishing them for not falling in step with a view of human sexuality that directly contradicts orthodox biblical teaching.

They believe that people who want to live by their faith are backwater people, hillary and her team hold evangelicals in disdain.

Their contempt for Catholicism is palpable. they believe that people who want to live by their faith are backwater people.

I want to be actively supportive of a candidate who can help turn this nation around, with Trump – I’m not there yet. I hope to be there – but I’m not there right now.

There is no preconceived outcome here, i’m hoping we can have a conversation that could lead to helping conservative leaders make a decision about what to do in this election.

A vice presidential pick is going to be very crucial, mr. Trump doesn’t have a track record – so I am going to rely very heavily on who he is going to pick as a running mate.

These are the policies that he is going to pursue, he is absolutely committed to the issue of religious liberty.

I am absolutely convinced in my discussions with the senator that religious liberty will be a lot better off in America with a Cruz administration.

Unfortunately, this freedom has been systematically undermined and even assaulted under the policies of the current administration and previous Congresses.

What we are seeing is evangelicals who have been dormant in the political process that are turning out, it’s something we haven’t seen in a number of years.

Do not listen to the pundits or the polls – but vote your values, it was values voters and the return of those voters that put Ted Cruz over the top.

There’s nothing in the middle of the road but yellow stripes and dead animals.

I have many friends in this race, but I believe the one who is best positioned, best prepared to lead this nation forward, pulling it out of the tailspin this president has put us in, I believe it is Ted Cruz.

I trust Ted to do what needs to be done, i know him. I've seen him stand up against his colleagues. He's doing what he said he would do.

Leadership isn't about making deals, leadership is about standing on principle.

For a lot of reasons, intentional or not, she has become more of a celebrity than a political leader.

There's clearly movement going toward Ted, and I think he's making all the right moves, but from a timing standpoint, I'm still watching, waiting.

All these guys are my friends and someone's going to get their feelings hurt, you get a lot of guys who say they want your help when you're running, and then they forget about you when you get there. Ted was not that way.
