Our top priority is our troops, who are making the extraordinary effort to fulfill the mission they have been given. Democrats will work with this Administration to better define that mission and a realistic expectation of success in Iraq.

I have no problems with private schools. I graduated from one and so did my mother. Private schools are useful and we often use public funds to pay for their infrastructures and other common needs.

We have stabilized our economy. We took over a very sick economy, and we were hemorrhaging 750,000 jobs a month. We have stopped the hemorrhaging. In fact, we had 140,000 job growth last month. And that's what I call progress.

We run the risk of creating an elite society, we’ve got to recognize that people come from all walks of life, and we ought not dismiss anyone because of that.

They're both South Carolinians, they both know Michelle Childs ', and they both know that Michelle Childs ' has strong credentials on both sides of the aisle.

We find some real issues trying to figure out why it is that when we decided to support his bill, he seems to be supporting a filibuster of his own bill, that, to us, is very disconcerting.

That to me indicated, something untoward may have been going on.

We are all victims sometimes of timing and some of us benefit tremendously from timing, this is very tough timing for Amy Klobuchar. ... The timing is tough.

We've got to pay close attention to that 13 %.

Let's make sure these people vote, we can not afford to lose this election.

I'm not telling anybody that that's anything that I think must be. I just think that's what I favor.

I think when the night is over, Joe Biden will be the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and quite frankly, if the night ends the way it has begun, I think it is time for us to shut this primary down. It is time for us to cancel the rest of these debates.

I know Joe Biden. We know Joe Biden. But most importantly, Joe Biden knows us, i know Joe Biden heart. I know who Joe Biden is. I know what Joe Biden is. I know where this country is : We are at an inflection point.

I want the public to know that I am voting for Joe Biden. South Carolina should be voting for Joe Biden.

It is time for us to restore this country's dignity, this country's respect, that is what is at stake this year. And I can think of no one better suited, better prepared -- I can think of no one with the integrity, no one more committed to the fundamental principles to make this country what it is -- than my good friend, my late wife's great friend, Joe Biden.

I think that Bernie Sanders brings a lot to the table for people to consider, anybody who refers to themselves as a democratic socialist, that word has always had really dire consequences throughout South Carolina.

Obstruction of justice, I think, is too clear not to include, this is not a rush to judgment.

We do expect to lose some, and that's why I say it is a conscious vote, and it's with our constituents. We have a very diverse caucus.
