It's almost like the students I have worked with over the course of the campaign knew it was going to be coming, it was only a matter of time.

I'm hurt. I'm angry. The path that I saw so clearly for Katie Hill is no longer there, i never claimed to be perfect. But I never thought my imperfections would be weaponized and used to try to destroy me and the community I've loved for my entire life.

This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I believe it is the best thing for my constituents, my community, and our country, for the mistakes made along the way and the people who have been hurt, I am so sorry, and I am learning.

Intimate photos of me and another individual were published by Republican operatives on the Internet without my consent, i have notified Katie Hill police, who are investigating the situation and potential legal violations of those who posted and distributed the photos, and therefore will have no further comment on the digital materials.

Allegations that I have been involved in a relationship with Graham Kelly are absolutely false, i am saddened that the deeply personal matter of my divorce has been brought into public view and the vindictive claims of my ex have now involved the lives and reputations of unrelated parties.

I don't think any of us were delusional in thinking that we would be able to go in and pass these massive health care bills that we campaigned on, people in these front-line seats, in particular, are acutely aware that our jobs depend on us doing a good job and being effective representatives.

We have to have the best possible case. We shouldn't go into it half-baked in any way, shape or form. So I want the lawsuits to progress. I want us to get the information back that we're expecting, i feel confident in saying,' Listen, We're probably going to get there.' But this is my stance in terms of at what point we call for it.

I think we have enough power and enough strength in numbers and enough of a strong mandate from voters that we're going to be able to continue to stay true to the things that we ran on.

You can tell people when you're knocking on those doors that this election could come down to a few hundred votes, so their vote really will matter more in this election than probably any election that they'll ever vote in - and that there's no path to flipping the House and holding Donald Trump accountable or making any real progress across the country if we don't flip this seat.

We have to turn out young people, and I believe that we can this time, i had so many people tell me that's a losing strategy, and I just don't believe that's true. This is a campaign, and this is a moment in history, when people are going to show up.

It brought up a lot of trauma. ... I decided, if we're reacting like this, if this is happening for us, and you've got millions and millions of people across the country who are glued to the TV, then this is happening across the board, regardless of what happens with Brett Kavanaugh, this is here. Right ? We have to deal with this.
