President Trump has complete authority under U.S. and international law to recognize Jerusalem on behalf of the U.S., u.N Sec. Res 2344 is entirely non-binding. Nothing in international law prevents this. Moreover, the president has complete constitutional power to recognize Jerusalem as Israeli, as the Supreme Court ruled a few years ago in the Jerusalem passport case.
