Schools need to have plans for what they will do if kids get sick, who will have to quarantine ? Under what conditions will a school close temporarily ? Our research is showing that most districts haven't announced those kinds of contingency plans, which only adds to parent stress.

These are targeted resources needed to address the fact that a lot of children just didn’t achieve much for about a year. can these districts show that all their kids are ready to graduate at the end of this year — college- and career-ready?

We will end up with a highly imperfect set of data, this is something our country will have to commit to tracking and learning about for at least the next few years, and maybe the next decade.
