She can talk to the types of voters who strongly support their local law enforcement, but who also understand there are very troubling stories coming out of certain communities and real issues that need to be addressed.

Anything that spurs people to get involved financially, it just builds more ownership in the campaign.

I think they’re still riding rainbow unicorns if they think there’s a path.

There’s an element of people - they know they like him, but they’re not willing to give him their vote yet.

While the vice president is working through his process on whether or not he actually wants to run for president ... we continue to make the public case for why we think he's the best candidate for our party to put up for the presidency.

If you look at the way Democrats have struggled with working-class white voters primarily, I think Joe Biden is a guy that has come from that world. He was a middle-class guy growing up, and he has never lost his roots, he gives us a chance to talk to some voters that we have struggled with in the last few cycles.

Joe Biden is arguably the most consequential vice president in history. His fingerprints have been on pretty much every foreign policy and domestic issue.

I'm a long time admirer of the Vice President, and frankly when it became clear that he was giving the race serious consideration, I just raised my hand, i made the choice a few years ago to mostly get out of politics as a vocation, other than as a volunteer for people and causes that I care about.

We are still working out what the role will be, but largely will be to support the efforts of the 'Draft' effort, from helping make the public case, as well as working to grow the grassroots organization. As I told Josh Alcorn, I'm just an old political hand here to volunteer, in whatever way they think is most useful.

I think it's a center-right state, I think he is not electable in a general and I think he has the ability to create a pretty divisive primary if he runs.

Registration in its own right is an organizing tool, if your party’s out in communities, particularly in communities where we need to do better, building the kind of relationships in communities you have to build to successfully register voters, it’s going to have a kind of double-win impact.
