The attention span of everyone tends to wane, and unless we sort of move quickly to do our best to get people involved and engaged and seek their financial support, it will be a missed opportunity.

We've got to get people together because people are coming up to all of us and saying, 'How can we help?' they want to help, they want to sponsor a family they want to provide financial support.

You've seen an entire country mobilize city by city, community by community, to go and really do whatever we can to help.

We're on the Mississippi River, so there's going to have to be geese and ducks that are contaminated coming down that flyway, even though we have very few chicken farms on the water, those birds are going to stray all over the state during hunting season.

It's completely unacceptable, particularly in the neighborhoods where some of the protesters are going into restaurants and refusing to wear a mask and harassing staff and really being belligerent to the residents of our city.

I felt incredibly lucky that I was with him both days recording each historic event, this photo, to me, is proof that our democracy has survived and moved on from that day but has not forgotten it.
