The Bridgestone non-sanctioning was an easy decision based on ... the Alstom Open de France having been part of our schedule for so many years, they've been in that date since 2009, part of our schedule since 1972, it's their 100th anniversary and they are hosting the Ryder Cup in 2018.

Let me state initially that, under the new Rules of Golf... the decision made by our referees was correct, it is my strong belief, however, that the fact there is no discretion available to our referees when implementing rulings such as this is wrong and should be addressed immediately.
