The Fed may be willing to push the economy into a recession to actually get inflation under control, i think that was probably in the back of investors' minds, but it's front and center now. Stocks are going to have a hard time until they figure out where that end point is for the The Fed.

There are real concerns. FedEx's numbers are a perfect example. There's been a global growth slowdown, and companies are communicating that in terms of their guidance for the first quarter and throughout the year.

The stock market is forward looking and has discounted a lot of some of the really bad economic and earnings numbers that we're going to get for Q1 and Q2, it's really about when we do reopen, what's that curve look like? Is it a 'V,' is it a 'U' or is it a 'W'? Our view is that it's going to be slow recovery.
