The polls of Iowa have been wrong so many times, i'm pretty confident you're going to see Ted Cruz get 35,000 to 40,000 votes on caucus night, which is amongst the highest vote total that anybody has ever gotten.

He has really been raised on this, and it seems to me that he was raised for this time. People think he might be Ronald Reagan, I think (Cruz) is going to be Calvin Coolidge. what I like about his candidacy the most is, he didn't use his achievements as the basis for why we owe him something.

Fox kills everybody in the cable news ratings, but their primetime viewership is like 4 percent of the people who voted in the 2012 election. The average O'Reilly viewer is, like, 70, the average Iowa caucus goer is not the average Fox viewer.

Most of my audience has a bipolar feeling about Fox News, they view it as the most reliable place to go for news coverage, but they have grown increasingly untrusting of it when it comes to analysis.

Ben Carson is not Ben Carson, if Ben Carson wins here and Ted Cruz finishes second, Ted Cruz is clearly Ted Cruz.

If anything, Ted Cruz's been too gracious, and now is the time Ted Cruz's going to start closing the sale.

He is clearly the man of the hour from a buzz standpoint, i think with one or two exceptions, the goal of the others is to get him to go from zany to crazy, to self-immolate.

His entire campaign is based on him being a blunt instrument he can get back at Washington with. If he dulls those edges, that would be the death knell for him. it will be interesting to see how Scott Walker performs in this environment. I think we have to see if this [debate] diminishes his stature or he is able to craft an everyman persona who is a nice contrast to the bigger personalities.

I will give [ the establishment ] credit, they were headed for an all-out self-immolation with both Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush running. So Jeb Bush goes out on a plane and basically knee-caps Mitt Romney in public.
