The president's early downplaying and politicizing of the virus hurt his credibility and will make people question the administration's readiness from now until the day this passes, the president's greatest strength has been the economy. If the stock markets continue to tank, and real people begin to hurt financially, it will hurt the president politically.

Glenn Youngkin clearly wants this to be a race that is decided on state and local issues and Democrats want it to be about federal issues. But that is what you would usually see in a very blue state.

You have to help somebody win, not just hope somebody else loses.

Most people who sat on the sidelines last year, now they are wringing their hands because they can't believe they got to this point. They could have all gotten behind one candidate.

Late breakers tend to be late breakers because they already have a reason to not be with the front runner, late breakers tend to go with the challenger, not the incumbent.

This is going to be a four, five-person race.

An essential part of Gov. Christie's appeal is his ability to bring new people into the political process, whether they be donors or activists. He has proven this ability time and again in the past, winning handily in a blue state. If he decides to run, it is clear he will have the resources to run an aggressive, winning race.
